Friday favorites coming back at ya!
As you may already know, we eat a mostly gluten-free, dairy-free and grain-free diet. I know that sounds like a lot of FREEDOM, right?
Well, it may sound like the opposite to you, but I’ll tell you what — both hubby and I feel real freedom when our guts are functioning properly and we’re not battling inflammatory responses due to dietary choices.
While I know many are skeptical about the true benefits of cutting inflammatory agents out of your diet, the proof is in the puddin y’all! So, on this lifestyle adjustment, both my hubby and I have sought ways to satisfy our cravings, two of those being bread and granola. Because come on guys, there’s no way I’m willing to deprive myself of some of my favorite things. But, I’m not gonna lie, it is not easy finding clean items to fit this lifestyle, however, it is possible. And I guarantee your belly, brain and overall health will thank you if you put in the effort to find quality items!
Without further ado, here are my favorites to share this fabulous Friday:

SRSLY bread ~ Oh MAN this stuff is SO good! Perhaps the best sourdough I’ve ever had too. And since we’re in Reno now, which is very close to CA, we can buy this stuff at our local co-op. Do yourself a favor and check to see if it’s available near you!!

Three Trees ~ Again, being close to CA we now have another clean brand of nut milks available that is not completely outrageously priced. In SLC this stuff was at least $2.00 more everywhere I located it. This company is making great products and I have a feeling they’re going to continue to do so for a long time!

Purely Elizabeth ~ Granola, granola, granola! I’ve loved it my whole life and always preferred the crunchy goodness over soggy cereal. Some may have even referred to me as a crunchy granola at times! I am a bit hippy-ish, I guess 🙂
Anyhow, Purely Elizabeth has gotten the recipe(s) right! And no bloating or heaviness after consuming a bowl of this goodness! They offer many varieties, even ones with probiotic qualities.
Sooooo, what are some of your favorites?
Do you eat a grain-free, gluten-free or dairy-free diet?
How do you indulge your cravings?
How do you find reasonably-priced, clean foods locally?
